rail line 17 configured to provide ingress and egress through the charging station
(10C, l0D) for each battery car 128 positioned on the pass-tkough rail
line 17; and (b) a battery car diverting mechanism installed in the charging station (10C, 10D). The
battery car diverting mechanism is configured to: (i) divert each battery car 12B of discharged status from the pass-through rail line 17 to a secondary rail line 43; and (ii) return each battery car
128 of recharged status from the secondary rail line 43 to the passthrough rail line
17 upon completion of the charging session associated with the battery car l2B by the at least
one charging pile 16.
