present invention relates to a modified-asphalt-penetration-type macadam pavement using a high-functional asphalt modifier used in road pavement in regions or developing countries where there are no asphalt plants capable of producing hot mix asphalt (HMA) and, more specifically, is characterized in the inclusion of a high-functional asphalt modifier including 0.1-1 part by weight of graphene oxide (GO), 10-30 parts by weight of a softener, 20-80 parts by weight of a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), and 50-200 parts by weight of petroleum resin with respect to 100 parts by weight of an asphalt binder modified with a styrene-butadiene-styrene block copolymer. The present invention relates to a modified-asphalt-penetration-type macadam pavement manufactured by adding a measured amount of the prepared high-functional asphalt modifier to a straight asphalt (AP-5, AP-3) binder at a road pavement site. In the modified-asphalt-penetration-type macadam pavement using a high-functional asphalt modifier according to the present invention, graphene oxide (GO), which is a nanomaterial, is applied to modify an asphalt binder, thereby enhancing the mechanical performance and durability of the asphalt binder, and thus can contribute to extending the lifetime of road pavement.
