Transdermal spray formulations containing a pharmacerically active agent and methods for administering the same are provided. The formulations comprise the pharmaceutically active agent, a VP/VA copolymer and a non-aqueous vehicle. The formulations futher comprise an anti-nucleating agent to prevent recrystallization of the pharmaceutically active agent and a penetration enhancer to increase the rate of druge delivery through the skin. Upon application to the skin, the present formulations dry to provide at the site of treatment.
A pharmceutical fomulation comprising an anti-obesity agent, such as sibutramine, and at least one acidulant, such as fumaric acid, together with a pharmaceutically acceptable arrier, diluent or excipient therfor.

PROCESS FOR THE RECOVERY OF VALUE METALS FROM LATERITE ORES.
A process for the recovery of a value-metal from a laterite ore comprising the ateps of grinding or beneficiation of the ore ( if necessary ), leaching the ore in a solution of magnesium chloride and hydrochloric acid at a temperature between 75.C and the ambient boiling point, separating the solids from the liquid, purifying the leach liquor from final traces of impurity metals such as iron, aluminium, chromium and copper by adjusting the pH with recycled magesium oxide, recovery of a mixed nickel/cobalt hydroxide product suitable for further refining, regeneration of lixiviant solution, and recovery of magnesium oxide and hydrochloric acid by lixiviant regeneration which includes a step of pyrohdrolsis. The leaching is carried out countercurrently with hydrochloric acid recycled from lixiviant regeneration, or either cocurrently or countercurrently with a mixed solution of magnesium chloride and hydrochloric acid. Various processes for the regeneration of lixiviant solution are possible.
A process for leaching a value metal from a nickel laterite ore comprising the step of leaching the ore with a lixiviant comprising magnesium chloride and hydrochloric acid is disclosed. In embodiments, the process compriese recovery of a value metal from a nickel laterite ore comprising the steps of: leaching the ore with a lixiviant comprising magnesium chloride and hydrochloric acid; separating a value metal-rich leachate from the ore in a first solid-liquid separation; oxidizing and neutralizing the value metal-rich leachate so obtained; and separating a solution of magnesium chloride from the leachate so obtained in a second solid-liquid separation. In an embodiment, lixiviant solution is regenerated from the solution of magnesium chloride. In a furtherembodement, regeneration of lixiviant solution includes a step oof producing magnesiumoxide from the solution of magnesium chloride.

ບົດສັງເຂບ:
A process for leaching a value metal from a sulphide-based ore, comprising the step of leaching the ore with a lixiviant comprising a chloride, oxidant and hydrochloric acid is disclosed. The leaching is controlled, by use of low concentrations of hydrochloric acid ( less than 18% ( mass ratio )) and redox potential, to effect formation of hydrogen sulphide from the sulphide-based ore. The hydrogen sulphide is stripped from the leach solution, thereby reducing the amount of sulphur or sulphate generated in the leach to very low levels. Examples of the chloride include sodium and magnesium chloride. Examples of the oxidant include sodium chlorate and chlorine. In embodiments, the process comprises recovery of a value metal from a sulphide-based ore comprising the steps of: leaching the ore with a lixiviant comprising chloride, oxidant and hydrochloric acid, said leach forming hydrogen sulphide which is stripped therefrom; separating a value metal-rich leachate from the ore in a first solid-liquid separation; oxidizing and neutralizing the value metal-rich leachate so obtained; and separation of solution of chloride from the leachate so obtained in a second solid-liquid separation. In an embodiment, the chloride is magnesium chloride and lixiviant solution is regenerated.

a four-electrode fluorescent lamp having four filaments in a fluorescent lamp; each of the filament having two leads for being connected to a positive and a negative electrodes of a power source. a resistor is serially connected between a lead of one selective filament and a lead of another selective filament. Each of the filament is controlled by a transistor. A pair of capacitors are used to adjust the switching current of a pair of two transistors. The base of the transistor is connected to to respective diode set through a current limiting resistor. Each of the transistor is connected to a diode set. The four diodes are serially connected as a loop with two ends of the loop being connected to two ends of an AC power source. Thereby, a circuit for an alternative lighting four - electrode fluorescent lamp is formed.
An antimycobacterial combination and composition for treating tuberculosis are described. The compounds are N-(3-[[4-(3-trifluoromethylphenyl)piperazinyl]methyl]-2- methyl-5-pheny-pyrrolyl)-4-pyridylcarboxamide of formula (I) or a pharmaceutically acceptable non-toxic salt thereof
and an amount of or more first line antitubercular drugs.
